Welcome to the Veterans Memorial (Orange Avenue) Bridge Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study Website.

This website has been created to keep the community informed about the study and to provide an opportunity for community input.  The study began in September 2009 and is now complete.

The Federal Highway Administration approved the recommended concept for a high-level replacement bridge on December 8, 2011.  Click here to view the public notice that was published in the Daytona Beach Journal on December 30, 2011.

Volusia County received funding for the Design phase of this project.   The Design Phase is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2012.
