Volusia County conducted a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City Island Recreation Center, located at 110 E. Orange Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.  The hearing was conducted with an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. and a public comment period.  This public hearing was held to afford interested persons the opportunity to view the maps and materials on display and to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of the project.  As noted in the Public Hearing Notice below, project documents were available for public viewing from May 16, 2011 to June 17, 2011 at the City Island Library Center.
